The Last Week!
Week Four of the #Sew Photo Hop Instagram Challenge!

I really had SEW much fun with this challenge!

Day 22 - OOTD - Outfit Of The Day
This camo and lace top has become one of my casual favorites,
but I've also worn it with a maxi skirt and heels!

Day 23 - Fast Sewing
My Juki Serger is my go to for fast sewing!  She's a workhorse!

Day 24 - When I'm Sewing
I shut out the "noise" when I'm sewing with Pandora or an Audio Book!

Day 25 - Past Years
I made this dress after being self taught for 2 years.
That collar!  LOL!!

Day 26 - Details/Close-Up
Print matching and a reversed invisible zipper! Yes there is an upside down zipper in there!

Day 27 - Other Hobbies
LOVE BOOKS!

Day 28 - Favorite Fabrics
Prints, texture, lace and did I say prints!
These pics are from my last visit to Vogue Fabrics!

Day 29 - Scrap Buster
My "Scrappy" Tops!

Day 30 - What's Next On My List?
Among other things - to complete my remaining 4 Make Nine Projects (yep, another challenge).😁

That's it for the 2018 Sew Photo Hop!

I hope I didn't bore you with all the pics! I truly hope that I've inspired you!
I'd love to hear from you!

Happy Endless Sewing!

Sew!
Here goes photos from Week Three of the #Sew Photo Hop Instagram Challenge!

Day 15 - What Was I Thinking
This was originally a maxi dress - but I was just not happy with it covering my whole body...
so I cut it and made it a top instead!

Day 16 - Sewcial Friends I've Made
Reen, Rhonda, Angela, Sandy, Lisa, Molly, Caroline, and Michelle
Sewing and Embroidery brought us together!
And I couldn't ask for a better group of friends! 💗💗

Day 17 - Fitting SOS
My Granddaughter loves plaid! Plaid matching was not the SOS. She has an athletic build from shot put, discus throwing and swimming - and did I mention that she is a Taekwondo Black Belt!

Day 18 - Lounge Wear
My BFF, Sister and Daughter wearing matching caftans I made for Christmas several years ago!  I even made one for myself and embroidered our initials on them!

Day 19 - Knowledge Hub
I am constantly learning from:
Books, Online Classes, Hands-On Classes, FB Groups and Bloggers!

Day 20 - Seasonal
Working on a Long Bomber Jacket - perfect for fall weather!

Day 21 - TNT (Tried and True) Patterns
These are just a few of the patterns I've used multiple times!
Of course they've all been hacked one way or another!

I know that many of my sew sisters participated in this challenge!
I'd love to hear your thoughts about it!

Happy Endless Sewing!

September Sew Photo Hop Instagram Challenge - Week One

This post may contain affiliate links. This means that if you click through and make a purchase from these links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

In celebration of National Sewing Month, I joined a group of avid sewists in a 30 day Instagram challenge!  Using the #SewPhotoHop hashtag, we posted photos each day based on the theme of the day!

It was fun, but also a challenge!  Especially since I committed to posting everyday - I had to put my thinking cap on for many of the days' themes!

I will be doing a blog post for each week of the challenge.
Why didn't I think of blogging during the challenge?
I did!
But with all the work and excitement of starting my online sewing classes, it would have been a bit much!
So here goes the "delayed" 1st post!

Day One - Hello
We simply had to introduce ourselves.  I chose this pic, because it is one of my current favorite pics.

Day Two - Work in Progress
French seams and bias binding!

Day Three - All in One or Separates?
I love mixing and matching pieces - so definitely separates!

Day Four - Signature Style
If you haven't guessed by now, mine is bold colors and fun prints!

Day Five - Sewing Corner
I love my space! And nope...I did not clean it up for the photos!
It's where I work and how I work! 😍

Day Six - Seasonal Favorite
When I think of the word "seasonal", I think of textured fabrics and comfort food!

Day 7 - Texture and/or Color
I love both! The more texture, the better!  The brighter the color, the better!

I know that many of my sew sisters participated in this challenge!
I'd love to hear your thoughts about it!

Happy Endless Sewing!
