Chiffon Duster

I love sewing for my adult Daughter!

Usually, I make garments from pictures that she sends me.

But this time I decided to surprise her with a beautiful, self-drafted flowy duster for her Birthday!

She loves it!

I love how she styled it - nice casual look with this yummy chiffon!

This print was very unique!
This is the back view.
It is a repeating border print - stripes on the top and flowers on the bottom.  I turned the fabric so that the flowers ended up on one side and the stripes on the other side. If you look closely, you can see that the flowers are also intersecting with stripes.

This is the front view.
The unique print actually made it fun to work with!
I have more of this fabric and plan to make myself a duster - which will look different from this one. 😀

I used French seams on the side, shoulder and sleeve seams.
It created a very nice, clean finish on this sheer fabric.

Look at that smile! 😃

I'm happy that she's happy!
